Security

The following security policies must be observed when accessing the DLT system. The security of your data depends not only on the quality of the system, but to a large extent on the security and use of your device. The following policies will go a long way in ensuring that your account, data and money are not accessed by unauthorized persons

  1. Updating your web browser
    • It is important to keep your web browser up to date. Updates patch vulnerabilities to keep it secure. An un-updated web browser can be an easy way for an internet attacker to access your assets.
  2. Updating the device operating system (device security):
    • In addition to your web browser, keeping your device’s operating system up to date is very important for the security of your data. Keep it up-to-date. This applies not only to computers, but also to mobile phones. Rooted or jailbroken devices are not supported and access to the DLT system will not be allowed from them.
  3. Correct DLT address:
    • The DLT system is available exclusively at (Will be added at launch). When accessing the DLT website, always check in the address bar of your web browser that the address is correct and does not contain any other characters. If you find the DLT system at a different address, please notify us immediately at the contact listed in the Contacts section of the website at www.pse.cz.
  4. Correct application
    • To avoid installing a fraudulent DLT access app on your mobile phone that steals your login credentials, only install an app from the official Apple Store or Google Play app store. Never install apps from other stores. The correct addresses are: (Will be added at launch).
  5. Careful with phishing, vishing and smishing:
    • Internet scammers may try to contact you on behalf of the DLT system operator by phone or email. Phishing is a fraudulent method in which attackers try to obtain sensitive information (passwords, bank details) from users via email. Vishing is a similar attack, but it takes place over phone calls. Smishing is an attack via SMS messages. Our company will never request your personal information, password or login from you via phone, email or SMS. Do not share this information with anyone and protect it. Be cautious when clicking on links in emails or providing information when prompted by phone. Always check the sender’s address in emails. If in doubt, verify the information by contacting us using the contact details provided on our website.
  6. Computer security:
    • Only use trusted devices with installed and updated antimalware software to work with DLT. It’s your money.
    • We strongly advise against accessing the DLT system from public computers, such as those in libraries.
  7. Wifi security:
    • Only use trusted wifi networks such as your home or workplace to connect to the internet when accessing the DLT system. Do not use wifi networks in libraries, airports, cafes or guesthouses. On such wifi networks, communications from your device may be eavesdropped on by an attacker who has attacked the network and you are unaware of it.
  8. The correct procedure for logging out of the app:
    • When you stop working with the DLT Register system, make sure that you have actually logged out of the application. Use the “log out” link, do not exit by closing the window via clicking on the browser crosshairs.
  9. Locking the workspace/device:
    • If you have to leave your computer when you’re split up, lock your computer desktop so that unauthorised people can’t access your data and account while you’re away. Similarly, lock your mobile phone if you access DLT from it.
  10. Private mode
    • To connect, turn on private mode in your web browser to ensure that your activity is not as visible to other apps.
  11. Cookies:
    • After logging out of the DLT system, delete cookies and browsing history in your browser.
  12. Two-factor authentication:
    • Two-factor authentication increases security by requiring two different forms of authentication (e.g., a password and an SMS code). Do not give anyone your password or code received via SMS.
